Flotilla 6-4 meets the second Tuesday of each month at USCG Station Freeport, located in Surfside, Texas.  We meet at the base on the second floor Mess Hall.  Our mission is to serve as a force multiplier for the active duty Coast Guard.  Our area of responsibility extends from Matagorda Harbor to Alligator Point, at the far end of Chocolate Bayou; and from Old Brazos River Harbor out into the Gulf of Mexico.

Our Flotilla 6-4 serves Station Freeport, the "Guardians of the Gulf."  It is a Multi Mission Base which supports a number of different functions.  They guard the entrance from the Gulf of Mexico through the Freeport jetties.
